Catholic Charities Atlanta offers a range of services to the community, including pro-bono legal representation for victims of violence, domestic abuse, human trafficking, crime, and those seeking protection under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Their immigration legal services program provide low-cost help to eligible individuals and families in obtaining legal status, assist with naturalization, removal defense, and more. Other programs offered include counseling and parenting services, housing counseling services, refugee services, and more. Many services are offered in English and Spanish.

International Women's House
International Women’s House operates a shelter and 24-hour crisis line, and has a multi-lingual staff. They provide legal advocacy, counseling, and children’s program. Provides assistance with the following areas: parenting skills, financial skills, job seeking, medication management, SNAP and Medicaid applications, immigration paperwork, and locating transitional and permanent housing. Services are provided for victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse in the Metro-Atlanta area.
Tapestri, Inc.
Tapestri offers a variety of services for immigrant and refugee victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and sexual violence. Services include a legal advocacy program including assistance with temporary protective orders and legal referrals for child support, divorce, child custody, immigration and support services for battered refugee and immigrant women. Tapestri offers multi-lingual services including those in Spanish and Arabic. Services are offered throughout Georgia.
Dougherty
Liberty House of Albany
Liberty House provides a 24-hour hotline as well as emergency housing for domestic violence victims, legal advocacy, support groups and referrals. They serve Dougherty, Baker, Early, Miller, Clay, Calhoun, Lee, Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Schley, Webster, Stewart, Quitman, Randolph, Terrell, and Sumter counties. Services are available in English and Spanish.
Douglas
Douglas County Task Force On Family Violence and Sexual Assault
The Douglas County Task Force is a dual Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center for Douglas County, Georgia. The Center assists victims with Family Violence Protective Orders, Stalking Protective Orders, court accompaniment, legal advocacy, personal advocacy, criminal justice advocacy, Support Group and/or individual counseling, safety planning, shelter referrals, assistance with Crime Victim’s Compensation and referrals to community resources. The Sexual Assault Response Team responds to sexual assaults within Douglas County. The forensic examinations are performed at our center.
SHARE House
SHARE House provides a 24-hour emergency shelter, transitional apartments, legal advocacy, case management, a children’s program, domestic violence counseling, support groups and emergency food and clothing. They provide services for residents of Douglas and Paulding counties.
