Local Programs

The Women’s Resource Center provides assistance to women, men, and children who have been victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour hotline; emergency safe housing; medical and legal advocacy; advocacy; individual, couples, and family counseling; support groups; and prevention and education. The Women’s Resource Center serves Beaverhead and Madison Counties.

Domestic and Sexual Violence Services offers a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, emergency shelter and transport, SANE services, advocacy, assistance for applying for protection orders or crime victim compensation and immigration assistance concerning domestic violence or sexual abuse. Domestic and Sexual Violence Services serves Carbon and Stillwater counties.

YWCA of Great Falls provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour crisis hotline, case management, counseling and support groups, 60-day emergency housing program for women and children, and assistance obtaining an order of protection. YWCA of Great Falls serves Cascade County.

Custer Network Against Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault (CNADA) provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. CNADA provides networking and support to people in rural areas; awareness and understanding through public education, training and supervision of volunteer advocates and peer counselors; emergency services; and referrals to other services providers. CNADA serves Custer, Rosebud, Treasure, Garfield, and Powder River Counties.

The Abbie Shelter provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline; emergency shelter for women and their children; safety planning; court advocacy; therapeutic services; community education; and information and referrals. The Abbie Shelter serves Flathead County.

The Jefferson County Victim/Witness Advocate Program provides information to victims of domestic violence and/or stalking. Information includes: what a victim advocate, how to increase safety, information on how to help and where to get an order of protection. Jefferson County Victim/ Witness Advocate Program serves Jefferson County.

Safe Harbor provides services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking. Services include: emergency shelter, crisis intervention, emergency advocacy, transportation, and emergency vouchers. Safe Harbor serves Lake County.

The Friendship Center provides services to individuals and families who have been victims of domestic and sexual violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, counseling, domestic violence and sexual assault survivor groups, case management, sexual assault outreach program, crime victim advocate programs, order of protection assistance, legal advocacy, and community education and outreach. The Friendship Center serves Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, and Broadwater Counties.

Lincoln County Crisis Solutions (LCCS) provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency housing, assistance completing orders of protection, and weekly support groups. Lincoln County Crisis Solutions serves Lincoln County.

Mineral County Help Line (MCHL) provides services primarily to women who are victims of domestic and/or sexual violence. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, emergency housing, support groups, peer counseling, advocacy, education, and information and referrals. Mineral County Help Line serves Mineral County.

HI-Line’s Help for Abused Spouses (HLHAS) provides services to men and women who have been victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victim witnesses of crime. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, one-on-one advocacy, child advocacy, legal advocacy, victim witness services, educational trainings, safe homes and shelters (transportation provided), and information and referrals. HI-Line’s Help for Abused Spouses serves Pondera County.

Supporters of Abuse Free Environments, Inc. (SAFE) provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, outreach and advocacy, and a SAFE kids program. Supporters of Abuse Free Environments, Inc. serves Ravalli County.

Sanders County Coalition for Families (SCCFF) provides services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Services include: a 24-hour hotline; peer crisis counseling; criminal justice support/advocacy; emergency financial assistance; emergency legal advocacy; information and referrals; personal advocacy; transitional housing; crime victim compensation application assistance; women’s support group; art expression for adults and children; community outreach and education; and transportation. Sanders County Coalition for Families serves Sanders County.

Safe Space is a program under the Anaconda Family Resource Center. Safe Space provides assistance to primary and secondary survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour hotline; shelter for victims and their children; temporary pet boarding; emergency shelter, transportation, food, and clothing; weekly support groups (women and children); emergency 911 cell phone program; emergency financial assistance; community education; women’s resource center; and 24-hour advocacy and support-including on the scene response. Safe Space serves Silver Bow, Granite, Deer Lodge, Powell and portions of Jefferson and Madison Counties.
