The Shelter Home of Caldwell County provides services to survivors/victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, rape, and sexual assault, and their children. Services include: emergency crisis shelter, child advocacy, varying types of support groups for adults/parents/children, court advocacy, legal services, support throughout legal proceedings, prevention educational programs, referrals, and more. Serving Caldwell County and the surrounding area.

Carteret County Domestic Violence Program
The Carteret County Domestic Violence Program provides services to domestic violence survivors in the county. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter and assistance, court and hospital advocacy, case management, support groups, counseling, community education, assistance with immigration matters relating to domestic violence, food/clothing/furniture assistance, and more. Spanish interpretation and translation available.
Caswell
Family Services of Caswell County
Family Services of Caswell County provides services to victims of all types of domestic abuse. Their services include: a 24-hour hotline, community education, crisis intervention, court and medical advocacy, job counseling, children’s services, individual and group counseling, transportation assistance, sheltering assistance, support groups, protective order assistance, financial management assistance, and public awareness activities.

Family Guidance Center / First Step Domestic Violence Services
First Step Domestic Violence Services and the Family Guidance Center offer services to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, rape, and other violent crimes. Services include: 24-hour hotlines, shelter, crisis counseling, assistance with restraining orders and navigating the court system, relocation assistance, support groups, safety planning, hospital support and advocacy for rape victims, LGBTQIA+ support groups and counseling, intervention program, and more. Chatham
Chatham Family Violence Prevention Services (CFVPS)
Chatham Family Violence Prevention Services provides services for domestic violence victims and their families. Services include: assistance and accompaniment with protective orders, referrals to community resources, safety planning, advocacy, and educational programs. They also offer assistance with transportation, emergency shelter, child custody, and mental health services. Services provided by advocates who are fluent in English and Spanish. Additionally, a Spanish-speaking support group meets in Siler City.
Second Bloom of Chatham
Second Bloom provides services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Chatham County. Their services include: a 24-hour helpline, safety planning, crisis intervention, referrals, assistance filing for protective orders, support groups with free childcare, community education, and assistance with address confidentiality program application.
Cherokee
REACH of Cherokee County, Inc.
REACH of Cherokee County helps victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: crisis hotline, temporary shelter for women, men, and their children, court and hospital accompaniment, assistance with protection orders, support groups, life skills training, referrals, and case management. Their Women’s Resource Center offers help finding housing, emotional support, employment and financial training, social security, and more.
Clay
REACH of Clay County
REACH of Clay County offers services to victims of domestic and interpersonal violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, rape crisis advocacy, court advocacy, job counseling and training, education services, and health education. Their emergency shelter is located in Clay County and serves individuals from surrounding counties; shelter referrals can be made between counties and states.
Cleveland
Abuse Prevention Council, Inc.
The Abuse Prevention Council serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Cleveland County, and victims of sexual assault in Lincoln County. Services include: a 24-hour crisis hotline, safe shelter, court advocacy, individual counseling, support groups, hospital accompaniment, and case management.
Columbus
Families First, Inc.
Families First provides services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour hotline and crisis intervention, emergency shelter and assistance, community education, counseling, support groups, court advocacy and accompaniment, information, referrals, empowerment classes, and more. They have offices in Elizabethtown and Whiteville, which serve Bladen and Columbus counties.
Craven
Coastal Women's Shelter – New Bern Office
Coastal Women’s Shelter provides comprehensive domestic and sexual violence services to survivors. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, court advocacy, transportation, tuition/housing/employment assistance, clothing, food, support groups, information and referrals, education programs, and more. Serving Craven, Jones, and Pamlico counties.
Cumberland
CARE Family Violence Program
The CARE Family Violence Program provides domestic violence services to victims, children, and the abusers. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, safe house, advocacy, legal information, training, case management, individual counseling, parenting workshops, support groups, a batterer’s treatment program, and education and outreach programs. Childcare is provided during support group meetings.
