The Family Justice Center is a collaboration of community partners and agencies working together to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Offering emergency shelter, safety planing, court advocacy, case management, child witness assessments, parenting classes and support groups. Serving Georgetown and Horry counties.
The Rape Crisis Center provides a 24-hour hotline to address the needs of those who have experienced sexual victimization. Staff advocates offer crisis intervention, emotional support, and information and referrals to survivors and their loved ones. The Center provides community education programs, short-term counseling, therapist-facilitated support groups, and special events to promote a creative means of healing. Services are free and confidential and available regardless of whether the victimization occurred several hours or many years ago.
