Family Abuse Services provides services and support to survivors of intimate partner and family violence, and their children. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, support groups, assistance with protective orders, advocacy, help navigating court processes, lethality assessment program, housing, Hispanic outreach, supervised visitation/safe exchange, community education, and an elder justice project. Walk-in service available. Victim advocate services are provided in English and Spanish. Serving Alamance County.

Domestic Abuse is Not Acceptable (DANA)
The Domestic Abuse is Not Acceptable (DANA) program supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, shelter, victim advocates, safety planning, court and medical advocates, transportation to necessary/required appointments, assistance with victim’s compensation, educational programs, English and Spanish support groups, interpreting for Spanish-speaking victims for necessary/required appointments, and more. Victim advocate services are also provided in Spanish. DANA has offices in Sparta and Wilkesboro.

The Anson County Domestic Violence Coalition & Rape Crisis Center provides services for victims and survivors of domestic violence, family violence, and sexual assault. Services include: 24-hour crisis line, counseling, hospital accompaniment, court accompaniment, sexual assault advocacy, emergency transportation, referrals to emergency shelter, child advocacy, support groups, and more. A Safe Home For Everyone (A.S.H.E.)
A.S.H.E. provides services to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, and their loved ones, in Ashe County. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, safe emergency and transitional housing, crisis intervention counseling, medical and legal advocacy, support groups, case management, referrals, and educational programming.

OASIS, Inc. - Avery Office
OASIS serves victims of domestic and sexual violence. Services include a 24-hour crisis line in English and Spanish; confidential emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, crisis counseling, information and referrals, legal and medical advocacy, support groups, education and skill development, and prevention programs. Services are provided in English and Spanish. The OASIS website provides local resources for food, childcare, free wi-fi access locations, unemployment, and healthcare. Their offices in Boone and Newland serve Watauga and Avery counties.
